Facility Usage Request Forms

Community Use of School Facilities

The Board allows responsible and organized community groups to use school facilities for individual events, as long as these events do not conflict with school activities, state laws, local rules, or the care and maintenance of the buildings and grounds.

How to Submit a Facility Usage Request:

  1. Check Availability:
    Contact the administrator at the school or district facility where you want to hold your event. Confirm the date is available and that your event meets the guidelines on the Facility Usage Request form.

  2. Complete the Form:
    Download the Facility Usage Request form from the website, fill it out completely, and submit it to the facility where your event will take place.

  3. Approval and Fees:
    After the administrator reviews your request, you will receive a call to inform you if your request is approved and to discuss any fees.

  4. Fee Waiver Requests:
    If you want to request a fee waiver, your request will be sent to the Board of Trustees for approval at their next meeting—provided it’s submitted before the agenda deadline. We recommend submitting fee waiver requests at least 60 days before your event.

  5. Payment:
    If you are not requesting a fee waiver, please make your payment payable to Fairfield County School District. Submit your payment along with a copy of your approved request to:
