Elementary Education
Fairfield County School District is home to five elementary schools. Four schools
serve students from CD3 through sixth grade, while one school serves students
from CD4 through sixth grade. The Child Early Reading and Development
Education Program (CERDEP), funded by the SC Department of Education, is
offered at four of the five elementary schools.

Child Development
Fairfield County School District offers classes for 3-year-olds at Fairfield
Elementary School, Geiger Elementary School, Kelly Miller Elementary School,
and McCrorey Liston School of Technology.
The Child Early Reading and Development Education Program (CERDEP), funded
by the SC Department of Education, is available at four of the district’s five
elementary schools. The program places a strong emphasis on literacy and early
literacy development. All child development classes implement The Creative
Curriculum—a state-approved, research-based program—alongside the Good
Start, Grow Smart Early Learning Standards to support comprehensive growth and
school readiness.
