Registration & Attendance
To register, new students must live within the school district’s attendance area at the time of enrollment. Students must be enrolled with their legal guardian as established by birth records, parents, Family Court custody orders, or DSS placement.
Affidavits will not be accepted.
Students attend schools based on their legal residence. If you’re unsure of your attendance area or have trouble uploading required documents during enrollment, please contact the District Attendance Office at 803-635-4607 ext. 10308 or email mrbrown@fairfield1.org.
Required Documents for Enrollment:

Certified birth certificate

Parent/Guardian Valid Picture ID

SC Certificate of Immunization (shot record)

Special Services Documents (IEP, if applicable)

Court documents (if applicable)

Proof of residency (provide two of the following):

Mortgage, lease, rental agreement, or property tax statement (vehicle tax statements not accepted)

Current utility bill (phone, electric, gas, water, landline, etc.)

Voter’s registration card with address

Proof of Income (required for 4K only) - Medicaid Card, Pay statement, W-2 form, or income tax statement

Transcript or last report card from previous school (grades 9-12)

For secondary students (grades 6-12): unofficial transcript, withdrawal grades (if mid-year), and IEP (if applicable)
