WINNSBORO, S.C. — The Fairfield County School District Board of Trustees unanimously selected Mr. Alvin Pressley as the district’s next Superintendent during a Special Called Board Meeting held on Friday, June 13. Mr. Pressley will officially assume his new role on July 1, 2025.

The Fairfield County Board of Trustees voted on June 6 to select three candidates as finalists for the position of Superintendent. The three finalists (in alphabetical order):
