Today, we honor and commemorate the sacrifices of our heroes, armed forces, first responders, and countless others who have served to defend our nation's freedom.

During National HBCU Week, employees have the option to observe the legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities and the district's partnerships with HBCUs. School counselors and career specialists, in collaboration with school staff, will facilitate additional activities to promote awareness of HBCUs.

September is declared as National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.

FCSD recognizes that good attendance is essential to academic success!

Fairfield County School District offices and schools are closed Monday, September 2, in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 3.
